Happy Birthday Matcha! 🥳

We can’t believe it! Matcha has officially turned 1-year old 🥳 🎂 🎉.

It’s been a wild year, so we wanted to take time to reflect on where things started and what we’ve accomplished. We first built Matcha because we wanted to make a crypto exchange for everyone: one that was trusted, transparent, and easy to use. These values remain our north star and we are focused on continuing to bring you the best trading experience in DeFi into the future.

Matcha could not have become what it is today without the traders, market makers, and advocates that make up the Matcha community, so thank you to all of you who have been part of this journey!

Plans for year 2

Improve the trading experience - We launched Matcha 2.0 in June bringing many new features like OTC and fiat on-ramps to DeFi for the first time, but we won’t rest on our laurels. We will keep raising the bar in terms of what people expect from their DEX by providing best in class features for the best trading experience in DeFi.

1. More growth - We will continue to grow the number of traders, market makers, and projects that use Matcha on a daily basis. We want to grow the pie for DeFi and know that an awesome Matcha experience is the way to bring in the next million people.
2. Reduce your stress - Crypto can feel crazy a lot of the time - especially in times of volatility. Projects explode over night and may be gone the next day. We want Matcha to continue being the most trusted and calm place for you to trade crypto and we will continue to build that into all levels of the Matcha experience.
